A Service of Knox Community Hospital
|

About Community Pediatrics...
Community Pediatrics has a primary objective to provide quality and compassionate health care
services to children of Knox County and surrounding communities.
The staff is here to serve patients as a caring team, kindly assisting parents, guardians and
care-takers to treat, prevent and when possible, eliminate sickness and disease from infants,
children, and adolescents up to age 21.
Education is a prime objective, teaching parenting skills to a level of understanding, whereby
care-takers of children arrive at reachable and realistic goals structured by guideline areas
adopted and promoted by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
The staff at Community Pediatrics strive at all times to provide our communities with courteous and
professional health care satisfaction!

Dr. Bell is a graduate of Meharry Medical College and completed his residency in Pediatrics at
George W. Hubbard Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He received his undergraduate degree in
pre-medicine from Howard University in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Bell made the decision to become a doctor at a young age
because of positive experiences with his childhood pediatrician.
My doctor cared sincerely for his patients and respected them.
I hope to provide the same quality and compassionate health
care to infants, children, adolescents and young adults up to
the age of 21, as he did for me.
Dr. Bell has specialty training in infectious diseases and
adolescent medicine. He also has experience providing care
to children with special needs including children with disabilities.
Dr. Bell states, I would like the community to know that my
goal is to provide quality health care for pediatric members of
the families of Knox County.
Dr. Bell was attracted to Knox County because of the lovely
small community environment and he wanted to help fulfill the need for providing medical care in
the field of pediatrics and adolescent medicine. Dr. Bell, his wife Belinda and their children have
recently moved to the Gambier area.
